Hello Jill, Thanks for the lectures. In examples 2 - 5 of Chapter 1 of the lecture notes, the bank deposit interest is subject to tax. Aren't they exempt as stated in the earlier part of the same notes?

bank deposit income is taxable - an ISA interst is exempt
