    Hi tutor,
How will questions regarding factoring and settlement discount be marked?

Let say when calculating the finance cost, i accidentally include the reduction of bad debts,

And when calculating the revised trade receivables, i deducted the bad debts too

will that lead to a complete 0 marks allocated? Or a 0.5m?

I have written all my calculation for both cases. so the marker will know how the figures are derived.

In sections A and B your workings are not looked at and you either get 2 marks or zero.

In Section C it is the workings that get the marks, not the final answer, so you still get the marks for whatever you did correctly.

I have already explained to you.

In Sections A and B you either get 2 marks if the answer was correct or 0 marks if the answer was wrong.
In Section C you get marks for your workings even if you have made a slight error.
