Could somebody please help me with EPS following a bonus issue?
The BPP study guide and Notes say to treat it as if it was issued at the beginning of the period, so there is no 'in year' adjustment to be made.
However, the questions in the revision book all say that the prior periods are adjusted by the 'bonus fraction' in the same way as the previous year??
So confused, have been attempting the questions but get so disorganised in the Financial statements and groups preparation, I can't see how anyone could mark my paper, it is confusing me and I have just written it.
