Enquiry on admin review

Hello sir.. Just like to know if admin review for f5 would be a useful activity as I got 49 and missed the pass by marginal 1 mark?I believe I attempted the exam well and gone through all the chapters and revision kit. Please advise if it's a wise decision if I go on with an admin review.

I am sorry that you did not pass - especially with being so close. It is not really worth paying for an administrative review because they will not remark your paper. Given that your mark is so marginal it will already have been marked twice and been reviewed by the examine.

Hello sir, Thank you for your prompt response.I don't know where I went wrong..I went through all your lectures. Did Kaplan Sec C whole questions and most of the questions from BPP sec C. Covered almost all the topics. Its the first time I am failing a subject in my life.Really shocked and don't know where I went wrong. Covered the subject so sincerely just like I study any other ACCA subject.I wrote sat exam in July for PM.but due to certain technical issues I could attempt 1 whole question from sec C and sec B and left 30 marks unattempted. But unfortunately got only 44 marks. In Sept session attempted all questions to cover up July session..but was running out of time and did sec A and B finally in a rush.. Please advise how can I improve and get good marks..I scored well in all other F level papers and now heading to P level and this is the only paper yet to finish. Please please advise..

Sorry for typo error..I sat remote exam in July and due to certain technical issues could not attempt* I never tried mock exam for PM under real exam situation..

As I got exemption for F2, kept the paper PM as last of the F level papers to attend.

A few things: You say that you covered most of the topics, but you must cover all the topics - everything is likely to be asked somewhere in the exam. Also, you say that you attempted the Kaplan Section C questions and 'most' of the BPP Section C questions. What about the Sections A and B questions in the Revision Kits? You must attempt all of the questions in the Kits (and it is Section A and B questions where you are most likely to have lost the extra six marks to have passed the exam). As far as mock exams are concerned, there are several mock exams in both the Kaplan and the BPP Kits and you should attempt them under exam conditions to get used to the time pressure. In addition, if you have not already done so, you should attempt the specimen computer based exams on the ACCA website. Finally, in the exam you must allocate your time and allow yourself 1.8 minutes per mark for each section. You write that you spent too much time on Section C and you must not let that happen. It is better to leave Section C questions only partly finished than to end up rushing through the other sections.

Thank you sir..yes it's true that I did not do sec A and B fully. First time 44 after unattending 30 marks and this time just got 49 and failed.. Also covered topics except MIS- IT topics. I will surely do sec A and B and technical articles and will surely cover the rest of topics. Will also do mock under exam condition..Sir, is there anything I should do apart from that??

Also is it alright if I use both BPP and Kaplan 2019-2020 version??

No, there is nothing else I can suggest. And yes - your Kits are OK. There are no significant syllabus changes :-)
