Many ACCA student’s which belong to a part of world where english is not spoken face a lot of problems during their studies of ACCA. Many of them enroll themselves with the ACCA program but they end up doing other degrees instead of continuing with ACCA Qaulification and the main reason is their poor english skills. When I started studying ACCA I myself had to face a lot of problems but I improved and continually trying to improve with my english skills. Many students in this part of the world are very hard working but they have poor english communication skills, they cant make sentences and biggest problem is that they can’t interpret what the examiner actually asking in the question and which is the main reason of their failing in exams. The most important part is that they also fail gaining the professional marks which are available for clarity of discussion and communication. A lot of students here complain that they cant come up with the ideas or correct vocabulary which should be used while planning and writing theoretical answers and they fail or they try their best to score on numerical questions . What should those students do who work so hard , invest a lot of time in studies and they fail or cant come up with answers because English is their 3rd language ?

i think i face the same problem, although i have yet to give up on my acca study.. i managed to pass f1 to f9 all on first attempts cause the F papers give chance to both student that have strength in writng and analytical skills cause the papers would be the combination of the two. but i found myself really struggling to score for P papers, it is totally on the different level altogether. even though you are strong in analytical stuff but ifyour writing is mess than it’s really hard to pass the 50 % hurdle.

In a 15minutes reading time i only read 3 questions of F6.because i also have to understand the meanings.this is not a story book which everyone can easily understand. In queston papers we have to read also have to understand the hard words.without understanding how can i pass the exam.15minutes are not too much.15minutes reading time are too much for F4 types of subject but not for F6 and F5 the questions are lenghthy in F5 and F6 as compared with F4.
