I am a ACCA student and i have passed F1 to F3 , F5 and F6. In December attempt if i pass F4 with any of F7-F9 will i be eligible for BSC degree? As acca requires F4 as a proof of English proficiency.

You need to opt in before doing F7, F8 and F9. that is you need to tell ACCA that you want to Do the degree before doing these papers. you can do it at MyAcca (online)

Hi. If you do not hold suitable English language qualification, you need to get a pass in p4 before passing f7′ f8′ f9

    It’s not in P4… it’s in F4. Big difference!! 🙂

But yes, passing F4 (the law paper) is taken as a suitable indication of proficiency in English. So you don’t need a separate qualification in English. I think you will have to pass F4 on it’s own though to give you the English langauge requirement. If you take any of F7 to F9 at the same time, and pass them, then you might not be eligible for it.

Probably best to contact ACCA directly to clarify.

I was exempted F1-F3, passed F4. But could not do the Oxford degree as I was told that I have to pass all the part two papers , f4 -f9 before submission.

I gave f4 in December of 2013, but failed with 2 marks. My tutor advised me to complete f7 and f9 first in June 2014, which i have done, results pending, and try my luck at f4 in December 2014. Now i have done a bit of research and realized, i may not be eligible for BSc honors in Applied Accounting because i gave f7 and f9 before f4. Can anyone kindly advice me what should i do? In myacca account, they still say i have opted for BSc honors.
Do i need to pass IELTS? or can i give f4 with f8 in December 2014 as i had already planned. Kindly reply as soon as possible so i can start studying without further delay…
