Hi,
This summer I graduated with a BA Accounting with Economics degree. As a consequence of my previous qualification I have received exemptions from a total of six papers (F1, F2, F3, F4, F5 and F7).
Recently I discovered that I have to pay for these exemptions; but at this moment in time I am short of money. The objective is to take on F6 in December and then later on (beginning of next year) pay for these exemptions when I have the money.
As far as I am aware you can start off with any paper, so would it be possible to take on F6 and later claim these exemptions and consequently pay for them?
Regards.
October 6, 2016 at 3:49 am #342504I believe you have to pass the Knowledge exams (F1-F3) before you can take the Skills exams (F4-F9). I guess you could pay for the exemptions for F1-F3 now and the rest later.
“you can take F3 before F1 and F2, but you must complete all three exams before taking F4.”

That is actually good, I can pay for this.October 26, 2016 at 10:10 pm #346196Hi,
I’ve read somewhere on the ACCA website that if you give up exemptions that you were entitled to claim based on a certain degree or qualification, then you cannot claim for those exemptions in the future based on that same degree or qualification.
Because when you are registering, you are asked about your potential degrees or qualifications that may award some exemptions, then just after that, the list of exemptions related to the degree you have informed appears and you have to choose (by ticking boxes) which ones you want to claim exemptions for.
At that stage of the process, if you don’t tick all exemptions that you are entitled to claim for, they will consider that you are giving them up once and for all.
Could someone confirm if I’m right or wrong ?
October 27, 2016 at 7:36 am #346224Hello,
Still concerning paying exemption fees. Would I be allowed to enter or pay for exams before paying for the exemptions. As it stands, I do not have sufficient fund to pay all the exemtion fees and I want write this December 2016.
Secondly, due to the instability of exchange rates in my country, I have to cough out a huge amount. I made some payment 2 days ago through an ACCA agent institution but I havent even got any response yet. Am afraid the month is ending and I want to take advantage of the standard payment rate.
I am so confused I dont know which direct number to contact and lay my complaints to. Please anyone to my rescue?

I would suggest you get in touch with the Acca directly with your queries.
