direct discrimination and indirect discrimination.

hi sir, your assistance is highly appreciated. In MCQs, direct and indirect discrimination is used differently that confused me. kindly correct me if I am wrong. direct discrimination is one group is less favorable on others.in selection of candidate only male candidate can apply for specific position whereas indirect discrimination, there is terms and condition like candidate only apply if they are single, blue eyecolor , height range, weight range.

Yes. Direct discrimination is usually obvious (eg only people <70 need apply). Indirect is less obvious eg must be able to run 1km in 4 minutes. That discriminates against the old (and the sensible).
