    Dears,

I have registered recently for ACCA and i am planning to write F7 Financial Reporting (International). I went through the detailed syllabus provided by ACCA but i did not get complete details i.e., topics covers for F7. I need the following information to start my preparation.

    1. Please provide me the Accounting Standards (IAS / IFRS) covered in F7 paper (as per my knowledger at present we have total 41 IAS standards and 14 IFRS standards).

    2. Problems covered standards (I have observed that only few problems are covering as per past papers i.e., Consolidation, Barrowing cost, Investment in Subsidiaries, Associates, Stand Alone Financial Statements, PPE).

Please help me to understand the syllabus before i proceed for the preparation.

    Hi Srinivasa

In answer to your first question, may I suggest that you put into your search box “F7 examinable documents” and that gives you very clearly the extent of the IASs and IFRSs that are in the syllabus

In answer to your second question, it’s my belief that the detail that I go into within the course notes together with an ability to follow and understand the worked answers (on this site) to the various questions 2 from past exams should be sufficient.

    Hope that helps
