Hopefully you got ATX anyway and you don't have to wait another 6 months for it. Would probably be the best one to get out of the way. Yes I will look for it too and hopefully they do the decent thing. Now have the hard job of taking my mind off this until Sunday!! Generally I'd only get the results on my mind the night of them but hard to do this time around. Hopefully we can get a response specifically clarifying the case for Irish finalists before then.

Tony at this stage I think I will jack it in for a while Have lost interest in it being honest so we will ask for money to be put back on my card Good luck either way.

Guys I’d say the December sitting is more popular than the September one so wouldn’t go by last sitting’s number of affiliates.
Former userFormer user4y ago#64
I know but what are the odds they emailed only to some of the Irish students who are to be affiliates Can’t see that
AAndy4y ago#65
Well ACCA again boo booed. That what I was afraid of. Lucky Irish ?? ??

Well I’d say the odds depend on how many sat final exams! Fingers crossed that today’s recipients aren’t the only new affiliates anyway.

I'm super nervous and reading all these comments of people gaining their results earlier just makes me even more nervous.

Good luck everyone

I have a question,I sat 2 applied knowledge exams in Dec and have 2 outstanding knowledge exams left to sit to pass that module. Should I be able to book the next level eg SBL/SBR for the next exam session in March if I haven’t passed the knowledge exams? As I’d have 4 outstanding at applied knowledge level if I haven’t passed both? Not sure how this works

No option left with us Guys...it is killing!.particularly for those who haven't got the communication or based outside Ireland...let's wait till Monday

@Amy19891 Unfortunately with the possibly of 2 to 4 exams remaining you can't jump up to the Strategic Business Level papers, as technically you need to complete the Applied Skills Level first. However, if say you only had FM left to take and wanted to take SBL as well you could book both for the March sitting, but you could not book SBL on it's own unless you completed the Skills Level. Hope that makes sense and all the best with your exam results.

I have been seeing this notification in every attempt that i sat

thanks for your reply, it’s giving me the option to book the strategic level now so that’s where I’m confused as I don’t think it would let me if I still had 4 outstanding
RRyanSupporter4y ago#74
I can book exams again was sure it’s been frozen, though I’m probably wrong and you could book exams all the way through this and I’ve just not realised
AAmy4y ago#75
Should I be able to book strategic exams in my planner for the March session if i still had 4 exams outstanding at the previous level? As it’s letting me add them so not sure if that means I’ve passed 2/4?
RRyanSupporter4y ago#76
Suppose maybe asking if anyone in the same position is seeing anything different on the book an exam screen
AAndy4y ago#77
For me, technically the planner did not allow to book strategic exam before I pass the rest. So I think if you book strategic now without passing FM, they will cancel your booking.

I think you would’ve always been able to book an exam unless you’re awaiting results for your last exam.
RRyanSupporter4y ago#79
I didn’t get the email and I’m 99% sure I’ve failed Though I think emails don’t mean anything
RRyanSupporter4y ago#80
I’m just waiting for it to reopen so I can book my resit
RRyanSupporter4y ago#81
It is depressing, but I’ve written this one off It’s rare for someone to pass them all first time
RRyanSupporter4y ago#82
I put a mitigating circumstances claim in because I had to look after two people who were quite sick the weekend before, I emailed acca before i sat the exam. Then put mitigating circumstances claim in, I think them it’s only really meant for bereavement in the period where the exam can’t be cancelled or an exam centre issue. It’s v hard to get medical certificates during Covid. Oh well, based on what I answered I expect 40~45 at most
RRyanSupporter4y ago#83
This is my first fail, i took SBL

What variant did you sit? I did the ATX Irish one and you can only sit it December and June. I find the volume on it gigantic in comparison to TX whereas AAA was not a huge jump up from AA. Think I will now switch to APM as I can at least repeat in the following sitting if I fail.

its like the waiting room for the dammed we all seem a little consigned to our fates theres always miracles
LLauren4y ago#86
I was able to book exams throughout taking ACCA even whilst awaiting results. I cannot book exams as a finalist as I have no exams to select. Try not to look too much into it. What will be will be and I wish everybody luck.

For those who are concerned with not receiving the generic email from ACCA about March exam prep, I strongly believe it has nothing to do with your result. For example, if I look over all the emails I got from the ACCA right before every single result release, I could not point out any relevance between the result and the generic emails. For sessions with successful exams, there was only an email suggesting me to opt in for the email/sms result notification or, rarely, random generic emails other than upcoming exam preparation. Last September, I took AAA only and I passed. However I didn't receive any email related to "December exam preparation", and same to the 2021 March exam session where I passed all papers I attempted. For a session in which I was absent(maybe counted as fail?) again, I did not receive anything but advertisement about the email/sms result service. Please DO NOT WORRY and DO NOT be too obsessed with any unproven theories posted in this forum. ACCA is monitoring this forum, there is no way they will allow us to predict our results using any glitches or "analysing" generic emails.

That's fine if you're not an Irish finalist. If you are however I'd say clutching at straws comes to mind. There's 15 people I've heard of who got the email in Ireland, the no of affiliates last Sept was 23 so it's clear that every Irish person who sat a final and passed would have got that email. If you're not an Irish finalist, I would not worry. Edit: Sorry I see you're not talking about the affiliate email.

My employer approached me today and told me he heard that the results were out for people doing their last exams Asked did I get the email , I said no So Embarrassing, thanks ACCA
RRyanSupporter4y ago#90
No worries pal, i'm chilled I know ive failed, so nothing to worry about You know if youve passed when you leave the exam imho Anyone who tries to convince themselves differently is lying to themselves
