Hi sir, for December 2008 P1 exam question 2(b), For the transference of risk and reduction of risk I wrote something different. Is the following acceptable ?

Transfer the risk to customers – Before selling product 2, bind customers into a formal contract which states that Chen products Ltd will not be responsible for any injuries or inconvenience caused by product 2 and that the customer is fully liable for any losses. This means that the customers would not be able to demand a compensation even if anything were to go wrong in the future.

Reduce the risk of customer injuries and inconvenience – Analyze the reason for the failure of product 2, and then make changes to the manufacturing process to ensure that no defects are formed. This will reduce the risk of customer injuries.

Example 1: would work provided such a restriction were legal in the relevant country.

Example 2:…make changes in the manufacturing process to reduce the chance of defects occurring [I’m not sure they can ensure no defects are ever present]
