Is the right to require data controller to reconsider a decision made on a purely automated basis a typical right of individuals with respect to data stored about them in data protection legislation?
Yes. In most cases of automatic decision-making individuals are able to:
Obtain human intervention
Express their point of view
Obtain an explanation of the decision made
Have the opportunity to challenge the decision.
