Following on from the question asked earlier about the leapfrogging of the C of A, my understanding now is that when there is a judgement in the C of A and decision in that case is challenged successfully in the SC, it is a Reversal. However, if SC changes the decision in another case relying on the ratio of that initial case, then it is Overruling.
Is my understanding correct?
