Semi-variable costs are part fixed and part variable.
Stepped fixed costs are fixed over a range but then became fixed at higher level.
You really should watch the free lectures (using the free lecture notes with them) were they are explained in detail.
The free lectures are a complete course covering everything you need to be able to pass F2 well!
