Please does anyone experience a change in format when texts are copied from exhibit to the response sheet on the ACCA exam platform.
And is there a way to fix this

General ACCACOPY AND PASTE IN EXAM PLATFORM
This is what it says in the Guide to Session CBEs:
"COPY AND PASTE
You can copy text from the Scratch
Pad or question scenario and
paste it into your answers in the
constructed response section of
the exam using the Ctrl-C (Copy)
and Ctrl-V (Paste) shortcuts. Note:
When pasting into a spreadsheet
you must double-click the cell or
paste directly into the formula bar."
On page 17 of the guide it says:
Pasting text from the question scenario/Scratch Pad into a spreadsheet will
place it into one spreadsheet cell.
It would help if you specified in which exam in CBE practice platform are you experiencing a problem - so I can see what you mean by "change in format". If all you mean is that you are losing a font style, there's no need to bother about that. There are no marks for formatting.
When I was writing SBR anytime I copy a sentence from the exhibits to the answer sheet the format changes completely(the font size becomes very tiny). So I couldn't make use of the copy and paste format since it appeared unprofessional on my answer sheet.
However, when copying the questions from the requirement sheet to the answer sheet it was always in their original format. The only problem was from the exhibits to the answer sheet.
I will be writing my next paper AAA this week and I wanted to know if there is a way around this issue
Ok thank you.
It is good to know the changes in the format is not a problem.
PLEASE see the page after 4 or 4 instructions in the AAA Specimen Exam - which starts at the top:

Please be aware that PDF exhibits look and behave slightly differently in the CBE Practice Platform and the live exams.
I just tried a copy and paste and it came out fine.
