CIA Challenge Exam ( Certified Internal Auditors)

Hi ACCA member for 2 years now. I've received this email from ACCA about the CIA challenge. Is anyone going for it? I have been working for a small firm for over 4 years and I am hoping to work on my own once I meet the requirement for the practicing certificate.

Hi, I have been a member for nearly 2 years as well. I am thinking about it but wonder if it is beneficial for me. I do not work in this area and do not have any plans to do so in he future. Also, there will be yearly CPD requirements that come with it after passing. Not sure how I would achieve those if I do not work in this area... Is there anyone that has done it in the past and can share some experiences?
