Do you get marks for workings? What if your calculations are correct but you have no workings?

Did you say that there are no marks for presentation? Do I lose marks for not having the name of the company, the currency symbol. etc.?

If you add workings and your layout is easy to understand the chances of getting points increase significantly.

If you get the number correct then you get all of the marks available, even if there is no working shown. If you make a mistake and the number isn’t correct, then the marker will look at your workings to see if partial credit can be awarded. If there are no working, then there will be no partial marks and no credit given.

It is therefore vitally important to show your working where you can.

    Thanks
