Hi, please could you upload the answers to page 90 in the notes, Chapter 16 Leases, example 2 on Giedruola. If you don’t mind, please could you state the extract figures for year ending 31 Dec 2009

    SOFP:
Total Non Current Assets: ? 13,714
    Non current liabilities: ? 10,960
    Current Liabilities: ? 3000

    SOP/L:
    Depreciate Charge: ? 2286
    Finance charges: ? 1370
I have also entered the answers that I got, please let me know whether they are correct or not?
Hope to hear from you soon, thank you

Please don’t post your questions twice! If you post on this page, I SHALL answer you but posting twice (or more) gets me a little bit upset!

    🙂

Hey I am sorry for posting twice, its just that the system was showing as it didn’t post the first time hence why I posted again. Sorry once again.
I have a question as to why 13,295 and 11,583 has been used to calculate the current liability and not 13,960 and 12,162? shouldn’t the total liability at 31st December 09 be 13,960 because we are preparing financial statement for year ended 31/12/09? I am a bit confused
Hope to hear from you soon, thank you

What’s the CAPITAL amount outstanding as at 31 December 2009 and 31 December 2010?

And isn’t there a separate current liability shown for accrued interest in the solution?

    I bet there is!
