LWCBE ACCA F4 June 2018 Exam results - Instant Poll and Comments

I would like to express my gratitude to the open tuition team - may Gpd bless you. I cleared F4(English varaiant) CBE with 70%. I used the open tuition lectures and notes. Studied for only 3weeks (not advisable though, im studying full time at home -studied everyday).

Passed with 65%

Passed today with 72%. Many thanks to Open Tuition!

Passed with 58%. Studied 4 days full time. Thanks Open Tuition !

Passed 68% using Open Tuition and Kaplan - studied 3 weeks alongside a full time job (again, I wouldn't advise but it is possible if you study and practice effectively!) Thanks Open Tuition

I studied full time for 2 days using only the opentuition video lectures. Passed with 69%. Thank you so much Mike. I totally enjoyed the lectures mixed with a good sense of humour.

Those who have finished doing F4 GLOBAL VERSION can please help.. Anyone who has done practicing from kaplan exam kit or study text can please send me the code which is on the first page of the kaplan book .. i have bought bpp exam kit and study text but cant afford to buy kaplan exam kit.. with this code i can atleast get the electronic version of the book.. please if anyone can help me.. Thanks in advance..

I suppose that there's some irony in the fact that it's the law paper for which you are encouraging others to take illegal action! You must NOT solicit nor encourage others to break the law by passing on codes that will enable you to break into copyright material - it is both illegal and unethical and we will not permit such actions on this site

I don't think there's anything wrong in it. Since most of the students who have finished the paper would be tossing these books in the garbage. The books and the codes would be of no use to them. Instead, they can help others by providing these books or codes to others who cant afford. Anyways I'm very sorry for what I have done.

I'm not forcing anyone. But if someone wants to help then they can email me and commit a criminal offence

Please, do NOT attempt to have others (and you yourself) break copyright laws - you are trying to qualify as an accountant - a person that is respectful of others and of legislation and your profession Your actions suggest that you are basically not a fit and proper person that can demonstrate the ethical actions that the World is entitled to believe are characteristics of qualified accountants and of those seeking to gain that qualidfication

Junaid, first of all, congratulations on passing Now - how many times have I said in these forums "You MUST buy a revision kit and you MUST spend endless hours going through those mcqs and mtqs" Countless times! But it's good to see that you agree with me :-)

I just wanted to say how glad I am I found Mike's lectures. I had read the kaplan book cover to cover first and had a basic understanding but after starting Mike's lectures its just made the knowledge really sink in. I love his sense of humour and the cases he uses to illustrate points of law, I was so worried about home study after being in college for all of my AAT and can't thank you enough for these lectures. My exam is in August and I love that I look forward to these videos each evening!

Moulid, buy a revision kit / exam kit from a reputable publisher and get stuck in there. There is no substitute for endless boring hours of practice, practice, practice And, when you hit a stone wall where you don't understand something, post on the LW / F4 Ask ACCA Tutor forum and I shall get back to you OK?
