    I heard you are only allowed to use publicly available information.

    I found some important information through Bloomberg and some reputable journals like Forbes only for subscriber.

    I think it is common practice to use info from subscribe only source in writing a thesis, is this not allowed for RAP?

    By publicly available information they mean anything that is in the public domain whether free or through subscription. This distinguishes this information from confidential company info only available internally if you work for the company or have a direct relationship with it.
