First of all, thank you so much for uploading a brilliant set of lectures for Paper P4 for free. Your lectures have helped me a lot in the past and they’ve really helped me so far for P4.. but why don’t you have video lectures for Mergers and Business Valuations? Many people have told me that Business Valuations is hands down the toughest topic in P4 so I wanted to know if Business Valuations is the same as what we had in F9 or there’s more in P4 for which we have to do a self study, cause I believe you wouldn’t leave out any topic from your lectures you felt was relevant.
There are no lectures on business valuations because the techniques involved are covered in other lectures – there are no extra techniques.
Questions are a problem (but it is ridiculous of people to tell you that it is the toughest topic!!), but the problem is more one of approach rather than of the techniques.
That is why I have recorded a few lectures working through some past question 1’s. The lectures discuss the approach as well as the technical content. They are linked from the main P4 page.
