i need help.i have been listening to the free lecture notes on budgeting and they seem not to cover questions on capital budgeting questions in the kit. how do i go about it?I started using opentuition from this topic.

Capital budgeting is investment appraisal and that is covered in the lecture notes and the lectures that go with the notes.

if an opening balance for the first week is not given in a cash budget question how to go about computing the closing balance?

It is not possible!!
They will give you the opening balance (or tell you that the company has only just started in which case the opening balance will be zero!)
If you are referring to a specific question, then tell me which question and I will explain.
