Dear Tutor,I am using 2017 Bpp revision kit.are there any significant differences with the latest version?
August 7, 2020 at 9:26 am #579513I am sorry but I do not keep old copies of the syllabus. There have been changes to the syllabus but I don’t think any of them have been major apart from more on information systems (which is written, not calculations). Obviously the current Revision Kit will be different because it will include more recent past exam questions.
Our notes and lectures are always up to date for the current syllabus.
August 7, 2020 at 4:07 pm #579542I am also solving questions in past papers as well as kaplan and Bpp.If I do past papers then no need to buy a new one.
As I have told before,I ?mprove on my weak parts because it is 3rd time I am failing with 47 46.I usually get good points from long questions because I know that I can not manage multiple choice questions. We will see what this time happen.August 7, 2020 at 5:41 pm #579561Yes – there is no real need to buy a new Revision Kit.
I can understand you not liking the Section A type of question but obviously you need to get some of those marks to be sure of passing. When doing Section A make sure that the first time you go through the questions do not waste any time at all on questions that need a lot of reading or questions on topics you know you are not good at. There will always be a few questions that are quick and reasonably easy. Later if you still have time you can spend longer on the questions that you jumped over, but when there is only 5 minutes or so time left at the end of the exam then make sure you guess an answer for every question you have not answered. With marks such as 46 and 47 it only needs 2 guesses to end up being correct to turn a fail into a pass 🙂
I hope things go well this time for you 🙂
August 7, 2020 at 7:04 pm #579566Dear Tutor, last time I could have passed and I then remembered that I wrongly selected two multiple choice questions. One of them was minimax regret and another was transfer pricing(cost based approach standard cost rather than actual cost i also remember i wrongly selected)It really hurts when you know that you wrongly selected. It is the toughest paper ever faced after FR.
Hope this time I will pass…thank you very much for your advice.August 8, 2020 at 7:58 am #579592Good luck 🙂
