Good Day Sir,
Regarding the additional information (ii), why the profit on sale of investment $400k is not recorded anywhere in the Cash Flow Statement?
I don’t have any BPP material available to me but I managed to find the question on the internet.
There in the suggested solution on the internet I see a deduction of $4,100 relating to the profit on the disposal of plant and equipment (8,100 – 4,000)
Is that the profit figure that you are referring to?
No, what I was referring to is the profit on sale on investment, not the plant and equipment.
Where there is an investment income “add-back” of 1,100, that 1,100 includes the profit on the sale of 400
