john sir what is the diffrence between bootleneck and a constraint in the context of througput accounting..i read a question on asking for differentiation..bt no explanation..i think till now both terms gives same sense..
Q.2.... by closing down canteen can we not close the cost gap under costing..answer is no..bt no explanation

11y ago#1There can be several processes all of which have limits (are constrained). The bottleneck is the one with the biggest constraint - the one that is slowing everything else down.
Q2 I do not know which canteen you are asking about - without seeing the whole question I cannot give you an answer.
