A pleasant good day to you. I am in a sticky situation where I am trying to book an exam for December 2019 sitting but a pop up keeps saying ‘Sorry, it’s not possible to plan and book exams at this time.Please try again later’. However if i try to book the exam in March 2020 it gets approved.
What could be the possible reason for this and what can I do to fix the situation?
October 27, 2019 at 1:52 pm #550989Hi Samantha, it might be a system-related issue or the paper is not available in the venue you selected? Or maybe try again later or tomorrow, or pop in a query to ACCA.

December 26, 2020 at 2:58 am #600865Were you able to get this issue resolved? If yes, kindly advise on how you resolved it. I am facing the same situation right now and emailing students@accaglobal.com has not helped. Thank you in advance.

“clear cookies and cache browser – close browser and try again” – I have had favourable reports of this working
Failing that, to contact ACCA either by telephone +44 (0)141 582 2000 or via https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us
You should be aware however that ACCA works to office hours – so your’re not going to get a response at a weekend of on national holidays which in the UK included yesterday (25th December) and will include Monday 28th December (in lieu of today which is “boxing day” but falling on a Saturday means it carries forward to Monday)

December 26, 2020 at 1:04 pm #600902oluwapel, further to Kim Smith’s answer, you should receive an email acknowledgement of reception of your query. I recently contacted them about another matter. The acknowledgement email said they aim to address queries within two working days but due to Covid impact this may not be possible. As Kim Smith said first working day back will be Tuesday 29th December. It might also be in your interest to know that January 2nd is also widely recognised as a holiday in Scotland but since this occurs on a Saturday an in lieu day is offered on following Monday the 4th January 2021. ACCA main office in Glasgow (Scotland). Hope this helps.
