Best time to take Ethics module?

Hi,
Wonder if I can get some advice on when people chose to do the Ethics module? I have read to do before attempting any professional exam to get the best use.
Iv just gone onto ACCA to purchase it, and the information box came up with its best to take before or alongside SBL.. then goes onto say or before attempting any professional exams.
I won’t be taking SBL first, probably SBR or APM, so wonder if I should do it now, or wait until before/alongside SBL to get the most from it?
