PMBasic or Advanced Variances?

As is stated in the syllabus and study guide all the "basic variances" (i.e. of MA) are assumed knowledge. The PM exam will certainly examine the advanced variances which build on the basic variances. Your focus in revision should be the advanced variances - but you should not forget the basics (e.g. in interpreting variances).
