I have the Kaplan textbook for BA4. I am currently preparing for a exam. In here there is a lengthy chapter 9 ( Appendix: CIMA Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants).
My question is must I learn this? I have read through it which took quite a bit of time; trying to memorize it is a different ball game.
Also being based in South Africa, would questions be different and refer to South African law?Questions will be the same wherever you sit the exam. Don’t learn the code verbatim – life is too short! What we cover in our notes and lectures will generally be enough.

Where do I get past exam papers for practice purposes?
Please advise as I have made 2 attempts already and not sure at the level of my knowledge as there is no mark shown to me except; Fail.I would appreciate if there is someone in South Africa who is doing the same level to be in touch so we can study together.
