Is it allowed for audit firm
1) making business/ investments/joint ventures
2) advertising/recommending other companies for its clients and getting commission?

2) I don't recollect seeing this in an exam question - what do YOU think?
(What would be the risk/threat if an audit firm recommended an investment to an audit client and the client acted on that recommendation? Could any safeguard reduce that threat to an acceptable level?)
