Hi, I’ve been self-studying using internet resources, and I was wondering if there are any topics or tips I should look out for this exam, especially from those who have been studying from BPP, LSBP and Kaplan. Thanks in advance.

P1
• Recent exams have tested content from the examiner’s technical articles (such as June 2015 on corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy and strategic CSR).
• Expect to see the use of stakeholder, ethical and other CSR theories applied to scenarios, as well as the use of risk, control and governance syllabus content, especially relating to board directors, remuneration and reporting. Focus on areas such as bribery and corruption, environmental risk and poor ethical stance.
• Use the extra 15 minutes you have been given (the reading time) to plan the compulsory scenario first.P1

March 5, 2018 at 11:24 pm #440500Yeah the fact a transaction cost theory article was put up means it is 99% guaranteed to be examined in either March or June.
I would say March. Because if it is not examined in march it would have to be in June.
Examining it in June instead of March would give as much as a guaranteed question on a professional exam question as you are ever going to get. The fact there is an article and the fact it has never been examined yet would make it practically a guaranteed question.
Where with March it ain’t guaranteed, but by asking it he was caught more than one type of fly with the same web. He has caught out those who don’t study the full syllabus and those who don’t consistently check the technical article section of the site like I do everyday on my bus journey.
Be interesting to see. But ultimately don’t take chances, don’t take risks (no pun intended), study everything.
