A company's planning is conventionally split up into three timescales. Which of the following types of planning is concerned with ensuring the company's resources are adequate for carrying out its longer term objectives?
A. Tactical
B. Strategic
C. Operational
D. Resource
The answer is A. But I'm not able figuring out how. I thought that the answer is B because it says longer term objectives.

Personally, I would have been tempted to go for operational as it would be there that, for example, the ordering if raw material would take place e.
