Dear Tutor. Can you help me with another question please.
A company’s planning is conventionally split up into three timescales. Which of the following types of planning is concerned with ensuring the company’s resources are adequate for carrying out its longer term objectives?
A. Tactical
B. Strategic
C. Operational
D. ResourceThe answer is A. But I’m not able figuring out how. I thought that the answer is B because it says longer term objectives.
Strategy is the long-teem plan and day-to-day resource management is not really part of that.
Personally, I would have been tempted to go for operational as it would be there that, for example, the ordering if raw material would take place e.
