    Hello,

I was wondering if there are certain marks in the section C questions. There seems to be a lot about the layout, and although i show my workings, amount and have the right answers, its always quite different to the answer. Am i going to get heavily penalised for this? The main questions this happens in are the tax computations, capital allowances and the shares.

I’m due to take this exam next Thursday and just need to know if i need to change my layout when it comes to my answers.

    Many thanks,

Without seeing what you are doing it is difficult for me to comment but if you are getting the right answers there should not be a problem. If your formats for the computations are as shown and lectured in our OT notes then you will certainly be ok

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. Its mainly just the little workings i fail to put down, because i do it on scrap paper or on the calculator.

I don’t think im missing anything major, just calculations. The answers always have the (W1) or (Note1) and then the workings below their answer. That’s the bit i don’t put down in the actual exam
