General ACCAAdvisory/ corporate finance

Hello all, I am currently working in auditing (outsource audit) at the moment and i was thinking to make a career shift to advisory or corporate finance. So, i just wanted to know from people who worked in these services before what exactly you do and how best can i prepare myself to work in these services. Thank you in advance for your help :)
