I gained exceptions from F1-F4 from previous studies.
I am taking F5 in Dec 2020. I am finding it difficult to approach ACCA.
Firstly, I don’t understand how candidates can take 4 papers in one exam session. I am just taking 1 and I already feel I’m fallen behind.
I am studying by distance learning by Kaplan.
Does anyone have an advice particularly on F5. I’m currently working through the Study Text and making my own notes but I’m not really sure. if I’m really understanding the material. The tutors said to work completely through the Study Text before attempt questions in the Exam Kit. But I have no way of testing my understanding.
I am becoming very distressed. I hope some of you can offer advice, support and guidance.
Thank you.

I generally advise students not to attempt 3 exams in one sitting – unless they have a “clean” track record through all the applied skills exams (for example).
So do not worry that you are finding just one hard going – these are PROFESSIONAL exams – and there is nothing to compare them with.
Why not join our PM community – all the resources here are for free:
https://opentuition.com/acca/pmYou don’t have to give up on your Kaplan course but if there is a topic you find difficult – find it in the index to the notes and watch John’s lecture. You can take a test at the end of every chapter https://opentuition.com/acca/pm/acca-performance-management-pm-practice-questions
You will still need to practice Qs from the Kaplan kit and don’t forget to check out the CBE specimen, past exams and practice Qs on ACCA’s website too https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f5.html
You’re not alone – for further support/advice, please select the most appropriate PM forum:
this one if you want a fellow student’s response https://opentuition.com/forum/acca-forums/acca-pm-performance-management-forums and this one if you want a tutor response https://opentuition.com/forum/ask-acca-tutor-forums/ask-the-tutor-acca-performance-management-pm-exams. But remember – if you want an OT tutor response you must use the notes and follow the lecture first. - AuthorPosts
