It's always better to do more recent questions. It's actually quite difficult for me to find a copy of it, but if I remember rightly, it's about a Boston Consulting Group approach. A more recent example of that technique can be found in Shoal Plc, from December 10. Styles have changed: mock exams often contain legacy questions which aren't quite right for the current exam, so don't worry too much.
Thanks Gromit :) styles have changed? kindly can you tell me more about that it will be really helpful :)
Look at recent exams to see the current style. That would be better and more useful than trying to describe a style.
Q1: now 50 marks, not 60. Otherwise there's nothing particularly wrong with that question, though too many sections for 50 marks.
Q2 - 4 Are all now about 1 page in length and are 25 marks not 20. The questions in the mock are too short and do not allow enough scenario detail.
Q1 and Q2 both deal with operating overseas and that seems too much on that subject.
Q3 is on quality and that is no longer on the P3 syllabus.
Q4 (b) MBO would not be asked as it is not specified on the syllabus or study guide.
Thanks Alot Gromit.basically as you have previously mentioned that BCG Matrix will be the model used in the question.i just want to ask that we will just apply 1 model in the question for the given marks!
Don't necessarily confine yourself to one model. BCG might be the main one but that might not rule out using eg PESTEL as well.
