Please explain further on rights issues and bonus issues of shares. I think it was omitted during the lecture. Thank you.

They are certainly not omitted. Rights issues and bonus issues are explained in full, with examples.
There are six lectures on Chapter 13, and if you look at the list of lectures you will see that one of them is specifically on rights and bonus issues!!
