Passed! 67% – by far my lowest mark, but so happy to get through my last exam. Well done to all those who have passed – those who haven’t, don’t give up – you can do it.

Passed with 53% (always keep writing right to the end (and I still don’t really know what a Project Initiation Document should look like)).

Studied with a Kaplan text book and all the OpenTuition lectures.

Thank you very much everyone – unquestionably it was OpenTuition that got me over the line.

I have to say, even having read the examiner’s report the project initiation document question is still a bit of a mystery. I did do the specimen exams and read the guidance on the website about PIDs, but there still didn’t seem to be enough in depth information to help with answering that question in the exam.

I am very pleased I don’t have to sit this one again – the exam, in a way. felt quite disconnected from the syllabus. There didn’t seem to be much chance to use models or syllabus knowledge. It will be interesting to see the pass rate when it is published.

I used BPP study text and revision kit, as well as Open Tuition lectures.

My advice would be practice as many questions as you can. Practice exams under exam conditions – 4 hours is a long time to concentrate, and you need to get used to it before the actual exam day.

Don’t learn the syllabus by rote – learn to apply the knowledge. Use technical articles on ACCA website, examiner’s guidance etc. All of this should help you pass.

    Good luck!

Many congs for the amazing performance.

I put so much work into it and yet failed with the lowest mark ever during my ACCA journey.

I did so good in P6 and P2 both first attempt, but this one took me by surprise and unsure where i went wrong.

would you please share your study technique. the do and don’t for instance.

what material did you use etc

    appreciate your response in advance
