Passed my 2nd attempt with 81%.....i failed my 1st attempt in December with 43%....I am now an Affiliate...... SBL was my first and only failure...my advice is simple.......you have got to be able to take defeat on the chin and move on......then watch all open tuition lectures and download the notes.....practice all the specimen papers and any past paper questions you can get your hands on.... I want to personally thank Ken Garrett for his superb lectures....Thank you Open Tuition for this fantastic resource...i will be making a donation...

Passed my second attempt at 50 after failing first at 43 and forfeiting my P1,I praise My God Jehovah, it wasn't easy being a wife,mum and employee and student

Forfeited my P1 which i had passed with 63 and now tremendously failed SBL. 4 hours exam from 11 till 15h00 is tough when you're not allowed any food. Ill bring a baxter of glucose at my next sitting

Passed on first attempt at 57! Wrote P7 the day after and for the enormous amount of writing I had to do, I was quite worried. For those that didn'tmake it, know that SBR allows you to play around with knowledge. So don't be stuck. Imagine yourself as an accomplished business consultant for a Fortune 500 company. How would you help them achieve their goals? What problems are they likely to face? How would you recommend strategies? SBL is all about the business environment.

I passed SBL (65) and SBR (50) exams. Finally to the glory of GOD i am an affiliate!!!!! Praise GOD...... After more than 10 year on this ACCA journey. Since 2010 i have been battling with my final papers. By 2013, it was remaining just one paper and i kept at it switching from Adv. Performance management after so many attempts to Adv. Financial Management. I finally passed my Adv. Fin. Mgt in Dec 2018 exam session, by then ACCA had returned 2 (now called SBL and SBR) papers passed since! It is only by the special grace of GOD that i passed this 2 papers in just a month of preparation!! I used BPP revision kit and Open tuition for SBL and Open tuition only for SBR. Many thanks to Open tuition and its lecturers, the good LORD bless you all in JESUS name. Praise the LORD. I encourage everyone that may have failed don't give up. GOD has not given up on you, so you will make it. Just keep at it, improve your study strategies and your exam strategies.

Failed with 47% , and feeling a bit disappointed as I was certain that I had done the well in the exam. Oh well, no point complaining just need to move on and re-attempt.

Hi congratulations to everybody who passed and don't give up to anybody who didn't. I haven't taken the paper yet but will do very soon. Does anybody remember what the questions were like?

Hi Dear, I have managed to pass during last session just using OT notes even without using lectures in my first attempt. I have read the OT notes, solved several past papers

Hi all, I made SBL attempt but no luck. Did self-study with BPP kit and forum. I answered total paper with in time and was hoping for 60-65%. My result is just 29% which means my approach to answers was totally wrong. I need advice on few bits; 1. I not appeared in professional & ethics module. Does it make difference. If yes, can some one share resource for it. 2. Enough to practice with BPP revision kit and OT online. Any other resource available. 3. Any further suggestion / tips, any one want to share. I will try Jun'19 again with self-study option (due to limited time from work routine). Thank you
