Hi
I received an email from ACCA saying that I have received the highest marks in the country for the exam I gave in the last session and in that email they said “If you have studied through one of our approved learning providers, please do let them know that you have been identified as a prizewinner”. I just wanted to know if this is mandatory? Like do you HAVE to inform your learning provider about this? And do you know what the reason behind this is?
Thank you 🙂
No it’s not mandatory – rather a courtesy to share your success with anyone who may have helped contribute towards it. They may ask for a quote from you to use in promotional literature (they couldn’t use without your consent) or to feature in advice to other students, for example. I think whoever you studied with – regardless of whether they’re approved or not – everyone likes to be thanked if they helped 🙂
