APM*** ACCA P5 March 2016 Exam Results ***

Thanks to GOD, PASSED on 1st Attempt with 58 marks. It is such a Relief ! I am an AFFILIATE !!!!! YAAAAYYYYYYYYYY :) :) :) .... I didn't expect a pass at all to be frank because i left 2 questions blank and i wasn't sure about the rest of my answers. WOW, it was just a very very very good Surprise. :) :) Congrats to all of you who passed and for those who didn't, just assess the way you answer the questions. I took alot of time to understand the way to answer the questions. It is really important area that we don't look at all. we just try to learn all types of formulae, notes and diagram but forget that we need to answer it in such a way that it is Concise ! :p

i really need someone to assist to pass this paper first attempt failed

Failed 48%. Attempted question 1 and 1 option. If only I had managed to write something on second option question. This was an easy exam by any standard. Have to improve my speed. Four attempts.

Failed again 3rd attempt. 33% the lowest I have ever obtained in any ACCA paper. Anyone who has attemped P4? How does it compare with P5 I need to close this chapter

attempt no 4, still no pass. going for it again. come on guys lets continue to do the best we can we will get through it. Congrats to all those that passed.

Passed with 55%. Very surprised did only two questions and had no hope for pass. I had worst preparation and performance this time, that was at least how I felt leaving the exam hall. Well no logic behind my results, other then this time I was relaxed and kinda already during exam accepting I would fail again.

I treed to pass that paper during last 2,5 year. This time i managed with 55% pass. What was different this time was as follow: firs created mental map of all models. This helps not to mess up which model you use. Then during exam I did the following. a) giving big picture about the scenario. saying something about company market; competitors etc b).linking every response back to scenario, which helped the responses not to look like ready text from book, lie i was quoting c) I would divide the responses in brief short paragraphs. And if I was writing something important i would underline. d) tired to be very neat, this is my biggest problem and also proofread, I have some form of dyslexia which makes the review very hard for me but i guess it was ok. e) Devoted full 2 hrs to firs question including first 15 minutes f) the rest of time i devoted to Q2. (try to write at least half of Q3) Success and don't give up!

Passed 53 at second attempt

Passed with a 55. First attempt. Thank God and thank you open tuition. Now an affliate:).

first time got 49, now second time got 60 :-) thanks opentuition... i only used opentuition and past exam papers :-)

Congratulation to all those who passed. The fight cannot stop for those who failed. Its just the beginning of another time of study. Just do you best, learn hard, hope for the better but anticipate the worst. Also make sure you don't owe ACCA while you wait for your last results (amean subscription)

Joining the 53% club : ) First time pass. Still in shock, sure I'd failed it. Can only think assessing the question requirement carefully, relating points to the scenario and trying to answer every part of every question (although skipped ABB part on Q1 and ran out of time last part Q4) saw me over the line.

Absolutely thrilled to have finally passed p5. Having failed 5 times and feeling that I just wasn't capable, I finally got there with an amazing 70 and am now an affiliate. I couldn't be happier to know the endless evenings of studying are over. Well done to those who passed and for those who didn't, don't give in, you'll get there too, you wouldn't have got this far if you're not capable of going all the way.

Passed this final paper at 4th attempt. For whoever failed this attempt, I feel you, and most of us here has gone through that stage in ACCA journey. Though I am not passing with flying colors, but still wish to help others with my little advice. P5 is not just about how hardcore you remember all those theories, but reading on a lot of current development in global business environment is must, must be able to see the issues beyond what is mentioned in the case. Doing past exams in exam condition is also important, best to have more than 3 sittings to build up confidence and that will train up in time management too. Lastly, I doubted Alex watt is not the examiner for March 2016, as the style is so much different, as what ACCA said before, the examiner will be anonymity in future, I guess there could be rotation of examiners, or a team of examiner to design the questions. Congratulate to all passed affiliate and good luck for the rest who are still working hard, you will definitely deserve the affiliate status in future.

PASS WITH 62MARKS. AFFILIATE AT LAST. CONGRATS TO THOSE THAT PASS AND PLS DONT B DISCOURAGE IF YOU FAILED.

OH GOD Many thanks I am finally Affiliate with 55 marks. Congratulations to all who have passed this paper and my support to those who missed it. You will surely get it at the next sitting. Paper P5 is a daunting paper which requires much hard work. I would recommend much practice and practice practice as much as you can ALL P5 papers from 2010 to 2016. there is no other means to get through this paper. GOOD Luck to all for the June diet.

i passed with a 50% on my third attempt and now an affiliate. I give praise to The Almighty

Passed on the 7th attempt. Could not believe my eyes. Been thinking of giving up over and over again and was all set to sit it again in June 16. Guys dont give up its just the final paper, its worth it when you finally see a pass at the end. I have been in the same situation so do not give up. Good luck everyone! :)
