61% .... 2nd attempt. 38% last time (completely bogged down with the Q1 calcs). This time the difference was exam technique .... did the paper backwards and answered all the wordy questions first. just did a few calcs for Q1 with the time I had left.

P5 - 58 first attempt :) P4 -57, first attempt at last finished ACCA - so glad, but also a little sad, that it is over. It was challenging experience :) Big thanks to Opentuition - I am so lucky, that 5 years ago I have met Mike and that they started all this for our support - it is was very valuable for my self study experience and I hope guys you are getting your payback for all your dedicated hard work. Good luck

To God be the glory. Open tuition I thank you so much for the good work you are doing to help us with materials and audios. Continue, your people behind the vail remain bless. I was able to scale through P3 and P4 though the exams were somehow but I managed to pass them. I thank God for his abundant grace.

Passed P4 with 50, Relieved and kind of interesting to see quite a few people on this forum passing with 50 :D
AAlexander11y ago#108
I was not really not expected to pass, but I tried my best doing questions. Also I tried to score "professionals marks" and I beleive they made my last 2-3 marks to 50. Keep on going and hope your baby is ok!
AAlexander11y ago#109
It is a kind of game with marker when he/she decides to give your the last stretch to 50. We played it well enough ;))
Ssalmiak11y ago#110
Passed with the first attempt with 50 marks and self-studying:-D Had no clue how it would end... I am happy! Congrats to all others who passed and especially finished the ACCA! Good luck for all who did not this time!

I'm quite frustrated with my result even I have done my very best for exam preparation. but some how someone advise me that if I have marks between 20 to 45, it is because my exam answers does not have 'content' which indicates I have no knowledge about this subject. Whilst if the marks between 45 to 49, that indicates exam techniques problem. I have re-sit this subject so many times but yet I have knowledge at all. That must be something wrong somewhere. Any advice?

Me its the third attempt 1st 48%,second 37%,Third 33%.I think i have done enough justice to this paper but just that maybe its im failing to well with calculations. And in all circumstances i did not finish the exam missed around 25-30% of the marks .I will try P5 and i know i might do better. Any advice.

well done
Eesoluyemo11y ago#116
My friend, I am in the same position with you. I felt that I should try P5 too, but I reconsider it that it will be a serious task to start studying P5 from the beginning while I only need to put a little effort in P4 preparation especially solving past questions.

How did this happen? I attempted the paper one time about 2 yrs ago.. what did you do to pass? what other option paper did you take?
Former userFormer user11y ago#118

@souganthika said: 77 in the first attempt. Not good enough ! :(
How come you're not satisfied with 77 even in the first attempt considering P4 is a very technical paper? Be thankful to God.
