Did anyone get selected for review of ACCA membership application? if yes how long it took for the process to complete?
April 12, 2021 at 8:31 pm #617317April 13, 2021 at 4:32 pm #617447Hi, I applied for membership in April 12 ( yesterday), how long will it take to process? i called ACCA and they are saying it will take up to 10-12 working days :(.
Regards to membership meeting, the customer service agent says that is historical information now, as there is no meeting held due to pandemic :(, this amount of time will be taken by administration to process the membership.April 15, 2021 at 11:23 am #617728Hi, I have applied the membership on 13th April and received the confirmation on 15th April.
I have to pay the membership admission fee, do I need to pay the membership annual fee during this year?April 15, 2021 at 2:29 pm #617753April 15, 2021 at 5:15 pm #617772Sharing my experience:
Passed my final exam on 12th April 2021 (I already had PER signed off and ethics completed).
Sent membership application on 12th April 2021 at 8am.
Email confirmation of membership acceptance received on 14th April 2021. Paid £258 fee on the same day.
I checked today (15th April 2021) and it says I am a full member on the portal. Also when I download the letter of good standing it confirms my membership.
I could not find a pdf membership certificate on the portal so I guess I will need to wait the 12 weeks for my physical certificate (not a major issue would just look nice on my wall).
April 15, 2021 at 6:21 pm #617777hi,
I just received the email says’ my application for membership” has been accepted. And that’s how my long journey with ACCA has finished I would like to thank Allah the almighty at first and second goes to open tuition team for their generous contribution for the acca student. God Bless you and I will do my small part of contribution for the open tuition for their smooth operation. Thank you open tuition!!!April 15, 2021 at 6:39 pm #617779@sabrina006 – my sincerest CONGRATULATIONS to you! I noted on you “please help” post in July 2018 that you had “decided to give up on it [ACCA] finally” – I am sooooooooo pleased that you did not.
There is a “never give up” post on the general forum https://opentuition.com/topic/never-give-up – if you would like to make a post “Why you should not give up” (or similar) on the general forum to share your experience I should be delighted to make it a “sticky post” to give encouragement to the students that are following you.
Well done you!
May 10, 2021 at 8:10 pm #620257Here is my timeline: received the last exam results on Apr 12 2021, applied for membership on the same date, as PER was completed before. On Apr 15 2021 received an email saying that my supervisor forgot to indicate that he was an IFAC qualified accountant, which was corrected the following day. On Apr 28 2021 received an email that my membership application was accepted. Paid the fee immediately. Membership certificate in .pdf signed on Apr 29 2021 became available on Apr 30 2021. My ACCA journey is over!
May 12, 2021 at 11:24 am #620392@masliav – CONGRATULATIONS! And thank you for sharing information about your timeline!
January 21, 2022 at 6:54 pm #647230Hi All,
Since I was monitoring this thread for information before applying for membership, thought I would share my latest experience, in case anyone is looking for the latest information.
I applied for membership on the day of the December 21 results release. i.e 17th of January 2022
I already had my PER signed off and ethics done.
I got an email to say that my membership was approved and would be transferred to membership within 5 working days on the 19th of January. Paid the 270GBP immediately same day.
MyACCA was fully updated to the membership profile and I was able to download my membership certificate on the 20th of January and letter of good standing etc..
So from application to downloading the membership certificate took 3 working days in total.
Hope this is useful
February 10, 2022 at 5:16 pm #648438Has any one had an instance where there membership was denied due to having police caution ?
April 18, 2022 at 1:57 am #653642How can I apply for membership after passing all papers and finalizing EPSM and Experience requirement ?
April 18, 2022 at 2:03 am #653643How can I get this application ?
April 22, 2022 at 9:40 am #654258I checked my account this morning and it’s now changed to member.
I know the full cert that gets posted to you can take up to 12 weeks but I can’t find anything about downloading the pdf cert? Does that become available a few days later?
All I have in my qualification tab is just my exams transcript.
April 22, 2022 at 10:33 am #654262If it’s only just changed in the last 48 hours (say) it might be a bit optimistic to suppose that the certificate will be immediately available – as it says here https://www.accaglobal.com/vn/en/member/membership/certificate.html “via myACCA” is indeed where you should be looking for it.
If you can find out from ACCA directly https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us perhaps you could share the answer here?
April 22, 2022 at 3:21 pm #654295It’s showing up now so seemed to have followed through within the day.
Thanks
April 23, 2022 at 8:12 am #654316July 10, 2022 at 3:33 am #660226For me it took a day or two to convert affiliate to Member in MyAcca portal ( post payment of fee of course)…you can find an advise in the portal for making application for membership ( takes only few minutes to tick the boxes)…Printed Certificate I got within 8/9 weeks but you can download the softcover of both Member and Pass certificates too from MyAcca ..trust this may help
December 5, 2022 at 2:35 pm #673487Do ACCA still issue physical copies of the membership certificates?
I was approved for membership on Aug 13th this year. My myacca account shows as member and I have the digital membership certificate, however I have received nothing in the mail. I’m living in Ireland and I was under the impression it was to be mailed out after I am approved for membership without me requesting it to be mailed. Do I need to request it to be mailed or are they not issuing physical copies anymore?December 5, 2022 at 2:42 pm #673489@elisak1989 – ACCA still issues certificates https://www.accaglobal.com/vn/en/member/membership/certificate.html
You should contact ACCA directly https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us
January 16, 2023 at 1:33 pm #676539Hi,
On 12th Jan I paid £122 for student membership for the year, today I passed my last exam (16th Jan). All PER, ethics and objectives are completed and I’ve applied for membership. Do you know if I will get partial refund on the student fee I paid or will I have to pay an additional £258 to be a member?
January 16, 2023 at 3:13 pm #676583See here https://opentuition.com/topic/why-do-i-have-to-pay-membership-fee-and-student-membership-fee
The membership fee is a one off. Annual subscriptions are not refundable.
April 22, 2023 at 10:40 am #683349Hi guys. How to apply for membership? I just finished my all exams.
April 22, 2023 at 12:17 pm #683351I would suggest you carefully read the following page-
https://www.accaglobal.com/an/en/student/becoming-member/member-ready.html
If you have any other questions about this topic I would suggest you ask on the general ACCA forum. The tutor on that forum is very knowledgeable about ACCA. Hope this helps.
