ACCA Membership Application

Fferoz5y ago
Hi, has anyone previously applied for membership, if so how long did they take to process your application?

How can I get this application ?
TTony4y ago#32
I checked my account this morning and it's now changed to member. I know the full cert that gets posted to you can take up to 12 weeks but I can't find anything about downloading the pdf cert? Does that become available a few days later? All I have in my qualification tab is just my exams transcript.

@Tony721 If it's only just changed in the last 48 hours (say) it might be a bit optimistic to suppose that the certificate will be immediately available - as it says here https://www.accaglobal.com/vn/en/member/membership/certificate.html "via myACCA" is indeed where you should be looking for it. If you can find out from ACCA directly https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us perhaps you could share the answer here?

It's showing up now so seemed to have followed through within the day. Thanks

@Tony721 - thank you for confirming the process!

For me it took a day or two to convert affiliate to Member in MyAcca portal ( post payment of fee of course)...you can find an advise in the portal for making application for membership ( takes only few minutes to tick the boxes)...Printed Certificate I got within 8/9 weeks but you can download the softcover of both Member and Pass certificates too from MyAcca ..trust this may help

@elisak1989 - ACCA still issues certificates https://www.accaglobal.com/vn/en/member/membership/certificate.html You should contact ACCA directly https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us

Hi, On 12th Jan I paid £122 for student membership for the year, today I passed my last exam (16th Jan). All PER, ethics and objectives are completed and I’ve applied for membership. Do you know if I will get partial refund on the student fee I paid or will I have to pay an additional £258 to be a member?
KimKimTutor3y ago#39
@tosino See here https://opentuition.com/topic/why-do-i-have-to-pay-membership-fee-and-student-membership-fee The membership fee is a one off. Annual subscriptions are not refundable.

Hi guys. How to apply for membership? I just finished my all exams.
MmrjonbainModerator3y ago#41
I would suggest you carefully read the following page- https://www.accaglobal.com/an/en/student/becoming-member/member-ready.html If you have any other questions about this topic I would suggest you ask on the general ACCA forum. The tutor on that forum is very knowledgeable about ACCA. Hope this helps.

Hi Kim, I seen your responses on this thread and thought you might be able to help. I applied for membership yesterday and got an email today saying that my application for membership is under review and that this review will take place as quickly as possible and that the ACCA will let me know if they require further information. This just seems a bit different than some of the review emails people have received.
KimKimTutor3y ago#43
@heatherb - apologies for not replying sooner, but I was on holiday and didn't see your post. It sounds like ACCA has introduced a "holding" response on receipt of applications since this thread was first started.

I applied yesterday (29th May) and this morning I received my acceptance email.

Hi. I just submitted the membership application and received the invoices from ACCA saying that the application was successful and pending for payment of admission fee. Can I withdraw my application at this moment? as I thinking to apply membership in next year Jan rather than now
KimKimTutor2y ago#46
You've come this far gabyso92 - I wouldn't recommend that you "mess about" with your application. If it is for reasons of financial hardship that you simply can't afford membership this year, you should contact ACCA directly for advice on withdrawing your application https://forms.accaglobal.com/contact-us If for any other reason, I suggest they are outweighed by the benefits of putting ACCA after your name sooner rather than later (!)

Hello everyone! I am about to apply for ACCA membership but discovered that there is a need for employer details, please do I fill in my current employer details or the employer I used for my PER? Thank you!
KimKimTutor2y ago#48
@[email protected] The form says; "ACCA will already hold information relating to your practical experience if you have been updating your My Experience record via myACCA." It asks for employer details only if your PER has been completed under the Approved employer scheme: "Please indicate here if you have completed your experience with a gold or platinum level ACCA Approved Employer and are claiming the performance objective exemption. Please provide the name of your Approved Employer"
