Hey guys - to pass this FR exam - is it sufficient just to use the BPP study text, revision kit, and Opentuition lecture (and notes) please? I'm a non-accounting major student and am planning to study by myself using the above materials only. I'm planning to sit the June 2020 exam. Your suggestion/ ideas are much appreciated. Thank you!

Scored 45, first attempt with about 4 weeks study using open tuition lectures and notes. I'm positive about my next attempt. Thanks Mr Chris.

Hi, I failed second time with 45%. Can anyone help me with some advice? I used BPP exam kit and revision course and still not passed :(
GGeorge6y ago#19
Passed with 64% first time. I found that quite weird though, considering I got 64% in Corporate Law just 2 weeks back!
VVeronikaSupporter6y ago#20
I actually read something from BBP textbook, but I don't know if that has helped me. the lectures are very good, but do you really understand everything? Some staff is really tough. With CBE exam you may have a set of questions you don't really want, it is like a lottery now. When everyone had the same questions exams were more comparable, now they have some bingo effect.

Hi Narsy96 , what was your study time like or can you share you study time method?
Nnasra6y ago#22
I was studying 3hrs a day for around 5 to 6 weeks .
MMarcy6y ago#23
Thank you Sir Ken Garett!!! A couple of years ago I used your lectures and I passed my Audit and Assurance exam. Ever so grateful. ?
FFiorela6y ago#24
Passed with 59%, first attempt - 1.5 months reading the syllabus and doing respective exercises per each chapter and 1.5 months revision and going through past papers, technical articles and any mock exam I could find.... and Opentuition has helped me a lot, thank you!! :)

Hi, Sorry to hear that you weren't successful. It all depends on how you use the revision kit. You need to answer the questions to time and under exam conditions. Also, with the computer based exam it will help massively if you practise answering the questions using the same software that you will be presented with in the exam. Good luck with the revision and post any questions that you have on the forum. Thanks

Hi, As I've just said in the previous post it is about question practice and how you practise the questions. Timed conditions and using the same exam software. Thanks
