Dear Colleague, I am happy to hear that you led the audit team/process; but disappointed that you've failed. It was the exact thing that you should have done - answering the questions - the whole exam was audit processes. Take a look! I presumed you were flustered when they asked the questions - you may not be aware how to answer them. My suggestion - every activities of your job; put it in exams term and make notes of your actions. Audit is police and thief - you'll catch them next time. The exam is the actual practical work which must be carried out. It is coupled with some definition which we ALL should be familiar with - control environment, risk and assessment, and the objectives of carrying out an audit. I hope you'll apply yourself and stop to think - start putting every you do in exam format. Regards,

My method for exams F2-F9 has been to first view the lectures on Open Tuition and then spend lots of time with the revision kits and doing at least 95% of all questions. Sometimes I do questions 2-3 times to make sure I understand it and can formulate a good answer well within the designated time. I think it's important to answer the questions as you would in the exam and not just scribble down some bullet point. This has worked relatively well for me so far: 3 exams 90+, 4 exams 80+, 1 exam 78. I'm also usually done 10 minutes before the time limit (except the CBEs which took max 1 hour per exam)

Failed with 49 marks. 3rd attempt... sigh.....

the same , i failed with 45 marks , 3rd attempt, i got 46 marks last time. i think we will not give up , try harder , i believe we will pass in dec 15.

Fumiao, I got 49 marks in last sitting n 48 marks in sitting before last sitting. sigh... really tired. Just enrolled for the coming sitting on Sep 15. Hope we can pass this paper in our next sitting.

do not worry we will , even sometimes we need little luck to pass exam , i used to get 50 and 51marks in f 5 ,f9 . so whatever forget the past, do not let it interrupt you, start it again. i know why i failed, this time i got only 6 marks from multiple questions, last time i got 16 marks.so i think i am getting better for writing questions. every time the exam is different , first we accept it, then find the weakness , find where we did wrong ,we try over again, we may get better marks , maybe higher than we expect . sad is no help, nobody is always lucky, F 8 really is very interest subject , i start to like it. as my experience, what hurt you, you can get more from it, we have to pass it ,in order to continue. study is more important than result. good luck chuayiherng. sorry for my poor english.

pass 61% but second attempt!!

Passed on 1st attempt with 63% - was half convinced I'd failed this one! Could have done better if I'd used my study leave more wisely...

sorry, but i had scored 49 just like you previously but now 62. So my advice is that you should work the kit fully and concentrate on the answering technique .you will make it for sure.

Failed 44%. Prepared for the exam in 6 weeks - went through textbook, made a thorough revision but very little question time. I think that was my biggest fault. With that being said, I was still expecting at least a pass mark. I would be a hypocrite if I said I'm not disappointed. Better luck next time. :-/
