72% and an Affiliate now. So over the moon. Just want to thanks Open Tuition massively, this wouldnt have been possible without your help. SBL and SBR I only used open tuition and BPP books. AAA and ATX I had to change the strategy. Congratulations to all who passed and good luck for future students.

Could you suggest me the approach how should I go for ATX September session

I did every single past paper I could get my hands on. I started by doing them all open book, tried to do 10 questions a day. I did them all open book, then I did them all closed book. I also read the Kaplan textbook page for page. I'm not going to lie, this is the hardest paper I think I've ever sat. It's very hard to get marks and it is a massive commitment. This is not open to interpretation and you need to learn the entire syllabus and be able to apply your knowledge 100%. Although it is pro-forma based, you need to understand why you are applying to proforma because there are so many things that mean adjusting it. All I can recommend is ALOT of hard work for this exam. I came out thinking I'd failed entirely. I was absolutely mortified!

Hello Thank you for leaving a comment. I am someone who has not passed, I have had a few attempts to this exam, Each time I have bee unsuccessful, its heartbreaking. Is there an exam strategy any of you guys could advise, and/or do you guys have any specific revision materials you would recommend I access? Some of you have mentioned exam question practice. Please can you advise where you sourced your bank of questions from? I would also like to ask you guys about the exam in March 2020. Did you all finish the paper? I ran out of time for mine. How much time did you allocate to each question? Thank you for reading and for your advice. Annie

Hey, I got 46%. But missed one whole question. Please could I buy your Kaplan workbook off you? I didn't get any tuition at all and studied for months just by myself. I would be so grateful if I could buy it I can do a bank transfer instantly.

In my view, March 2020 question paper was much better than December 2019. I could not study at all for March sitting. Still I thought I would pass even though I could not attempt Q.2 due to time pressure. Got only 36%. Frustrated again! Will not give up!

Am planning to do ATX in June if not cancelled due to Covid19. Congrats for all of you guys who passed or became affiliates. Your responses have a of a great help and hope. For those who are still studying like me I say good luck with your future studies and let's not give up God bless!

Hi cm1986 thank you for replying back and providing an insight into your journey and how you progressed with Advanced Taxation. It's very pleasing to hear you passed with great perseverance. I found that too that once there are changes in legislation it does take time to update your notes and then keep up with lessons if booked on a course. Everything moves quite quick and you have to practice the exam questions too. If you don't mind me asking when you were practicing exam questions how did you go about doing them? Thank you Annie
