Hi All,
I just wanted to know if anyone received one? I’ve seen in past posts people received a congratulatory email.
I passed my final exam, and I can see on myacca that my status is affiliate (awaiting for member confirmation as have completed PER time and ESPM requirements.)

It depends where you are as I believe these go out on a regional basis. You might want to check your spam folder and also that myACCA has your current email address.
Have not received a congratulatory affiliate email, as other people are saying they received..

Thanks for the reply. I’ve checked everything contact details are correct and no email in spam.
I even called them up today but the service agent didn’t know about them ?!
I guess, some of us don’t receive that little perk ahaha…
The “congrats” email is principally a communication reminding students of the need still to complete EPSM and PER – the “congrats” part of it is just incidental (!) It may be that it didn’t go to students who have already completed EPSM for example. As far as possible ACCA does like to “personalise” communications to make them as relevant as possible in the circumstances.
@kim I can not find my name in the affiliate list aswell?
I’ve tried mailing to acca about the congratulatory mail. Waiting on reply.You shouldn’t expect/don’t need a congratulory email just go by your status in myACCA
I just got Affiliated too, I haven’t received that congratulatory mail yet. Though it’s a little pat on the shoulder, it doesn’t matter and I don’t think we should really be concern to the extent of calling ACCA especially if our names are on the ACCA just Affiliated List. The person who should be worried is the guy whose name is not on the list.
He should check his myacca account to make sure he had ticked “yes, include in list of pass Affiliates”. If you had not ticked yes, I guess even if you tick now, it won’t be added. But again I don’t think that is a problem still once your my acca account is up to date.I still have more than 3 years to become a member since I have no prior experience and may have to start working in about a years time, so as Sir Kim suggested that the mail may be directed to people who are still to complete PER….I do not think so. I quess ACCA just has so much on their plate especially with the glitch that occurred in Ireland.
Just check and you were right about names of affiliate. It was marked “no” by default
@pranav96…Great then, so you have nothing to worry about. Don’t worry about the congratulatory mail….pat yourself on the shoulder by your self cuz you did an amazing job….it wasn’t an easy journey.
