The general feedback from those who use is no. ACCA already do lots of checks to ensure the result is correct. All the admin review does is recalculate your mark totals, you don’t actually get remarked.

It’s been my tradition to open the results email as soon as possible and aren’t I always glad to. Passed with 63%. Could have been worse, I guess. That is all exams passed. Boy, oh boy has it been a long road. Been cracking at it for 7 years now since starting as an undergraduate. Commiserations to all who missed out. I recommend reading the feedback thread from the September exams to all sitting in the future. Some interesting discussions were had.

Passed with 50% on first attempt - honestly thought I failed it when I left the exam hall! Thank goodness that's all over, no more ACCA exams for me :)

Fail at third attempt.....had it relatively smooth through the Fs -P3 Damn!!!!

What problem?

Passed with 63% at first attempt...I still cannot believe it. God is Great!

Passed 51 % first attempt self-study. A bit too close for comfort but it was a hard exam so really happy :)

Finally done with ACCA. Passed with 55%, 2nd attempt, self-study. It's been a long and tough journey. Glory to God. Phew!

I passed both APM and AAA, now and acca finalist. Final push in December. Keep going everyone !

Passed on first attempt with 61%. Honestly wasn't certain I was going to pass because I came out the exam very unsure due to poor time management.

Passed with 55% first attempt and I am so grateful. God is awesome, this was a miracle. Thanks to God, open tuition and sir Kashif Kamran's prepare to pass sessions. Now left with one paper, AFM. Beleiving God for clearing it in December and have my life back.

My previous attempts it was 23,33 & 49. I thought I have done little better than my previous attempt. But I have scored only 31. Could not believe. I am thinking of giving up ACCA.

Passes with 65% on my first attempt. Once again, thanks again OT for the great support you provide to us. Couldn't have done it without you.

I also got 49 :( From what i read an admin review is not worth it they will just take your money and just re count your marks. marking is not done again. now i just have to prepare myself mentally to start revising again and forgate abot my holiday trip. it was my 4th attempt. am so disappointed and low. i do self study. what can you advise me? how to i pass this paper?? Your suggestions are welcome. am based in Dubai and revision classes are extremely expensive here.

@jeggs and everyone else !! Finally passed audit after 4 times Also!! Do not dare give up I got stuck on 40 percent and thought I passed 3 times and failed !! Next time just print off exam papers !!! And ready solutions !!! That’s all do all question 2 then all questions 3 then all questions 4s . Etc!!! And use sticky notes to mark the page/paragraph I’m the exam solutions what you don’t get/ find difficult and then at the end you’ll only be reading the pages/paragraphs which has sticky notes !!! Also write out all the business risks on one a4 sheet of paper really small from exam papers and same wit audit risks!!! The thing I learned from the lectures was you don’ttttt need to write inherent risk / audit risk / detection risk beside each risk! Also where one question has 3 questions on it for professional issues/ ethics and something else ( I forget) you don’ttttt have to worry about after each point yu Make was that ethical / professional issue/ QC you don’t have do separate answers for these or state what point you covered again it’s mind dump and don’t worry !!THIS ONLY APPLIES TO QUESTION 1 risks and also the ethical/qc and professional ethics questions!!!! The reason I passed this time was because I concentrated more on this question ethics!! Before I was like oh I get ethics/QC/professional ussrs it’s easy but I never got it in the three exams ! Also in the free lectures he explains these 3 also !!!) he is amazing honestly !!’ These three are is so so so important!!!! Also you need to write notes from the lectures sonyou can reread again and again as if you don’t it’s a waste of time watching these lectures !!! Also You don’t get points unless you write down a safe guard for ethics !!!! You need to get a4 sheet of paper too like I told you to do with the audit risks and business risks for ethics also if you want to pass !!! Also that last exam I passed I messed up wit time management but I think the ethical questions saved me !!!! So time is number 1!!! Go into the same read the questions !!!! Not the case study !!! The questions !! And write down little things you need to remember at start of exam . do all This for 10/15 min max max max max !! And start off with q2 or q3!!! Don’t do question 1!!!! Just don’t !!!! And I spent too much time in the last exam writing out isa at start of exam and loads of things I needed to remember on page 1 of answer booklet and I couldn’t decide what question I would do for thirty minutes of the exam !!!!!! Terrible !!!!! Again the ethics/Qc/prof issues/ questions saved me this time!! You need to look at those free lectures and listen to this advice and you will pass !!! Don’t get hung up on isa I didn’t have time to put in anymore then maybe 1 of these one time and still passed !!!! And I just said isa x communication with client .... just the basic meaning of each one !!! Again if I was doing again I would make sure to be able to audit computations as you can see from this September exam there was a lot of accounts and numbers so here I would print off exam paper and just read solution for each computation and keep doing that ! And again use sticky note to and red pen on solutions at stuff you’ll need to remember !!!! If anyone had questions or wants my notes for p2/p6/p7 let me know !!! I will help you pass all of these as I struggled so much with these 3!!! But I just kept kept kept going !!! Don’t give up you will regret it !!! So keep going il help you!!! And I can photo copy my isa and ias and all my notes for u and you’ll get it the next time !!! It’s 50 percent knowledge and 50 percent exam technique if you don’t have exam technique you’ll fail!!!! And I never had this until the last one and still messed up on time ! You will never ever ever be perfect ! Let me help you because I know how horrendous it is but at the end you’ll be relieved honestly so keep at it and take my advice and you’ll pass the next time !! Also don’t forget your professional marks !!! And bullet point space bullet point space for whole exam !!! Don’t start on q1!!! And you don’t have to waste time deciding what questions you will do just pick q2/q3 whatever one you prefer and go back to questions you don’t get !! Do not waste time trying to think of what to write just highlight and come back at the end as stuff will come flowing to you then!!! Also use materiality !!!! You get a mark every time you calc this it’s v v each!! Watch those lectures and write notes on them ! Hi jeggs, I am totally sympathetic with you over the unsuccessful attempts. Trust me, I know how disappointing and devastating failing P7 is, because I myself have also failed P7 for 3 times, scoring 48 - 46 and 36 for the Sep 2018 - which caused me great pain since the minute I had received the exam result email just this morning. Drawing from the experience of the previous 2 failures, I changed my strategy completely on the exam by following closely the tips and guidance provided on Open Tuition and I myself felt that I did really well on the exam, managing to portion the timing between questions, and to give enough valid points to earn marks. To make myself clear, I am not stating what has been provided on Open Tuition is not accurate, I am greatly grateful for Open Tuition for the great resources on theories and technical tips for tackling the exam. It could be that I was overconfident, it could be that my answers were not as great as I thought they were. It could be due to a lot of reasons. But the overall feeling is great frustration in myself. Since this morning, I have been really sad and I have also thought about giving up ACCA although I have only 2 papers left (P4 and P7). But you know what, we are only defeated if we give up. My first ACCA exam was in Dec 2015, which was 3 years ago, and I believe that you, I and other ACCA students have come so far in this journey. I have checked the ACCA website and seen that the Question for Sep 2018 has been uploaded in the 'Past paper exam' section, the status of the Answer is 'Coming soon', so what I plan to do next is to carefully review the Answer and learn what I did wrong in the exam. I will judge my ability to pass P7 carefully this time and then, I will give it another try. Otherwise, I will attempt P5 instead of P7. My point is, don't be discouraged yet, but persevere and we will get there.

Passed 56% first sitting, done and dusted , I was on a roller coaster have been passing all my all my PROFESSIONAL LEVEL first sitting and SELF STUDY. You need to work smarter to pass ACCA rather than working HARD. Sweet victory. I give GLORY to the Almighty GOD

Amazing when i see people comment about their success. Have been struck with P7 as the only paper left for me now. little success and it is been 31,35,35,21 and now 38. Any useful tips against Dec?

Dont give up! I failed 3 TIMES before I passed. Try. try, try and try again. I agree that changing the way you read always helps.

Missed it at 46 from 48, this exam was time pressured, heading for it again Dec sitting. Best of luck to the finalists we are coming just behind you.
