I completed 50% of my syllabus. Is it possible to give my ACCA exam on Audit and Assurance paper that takes place on 03 of March 2025? Do I have sufficient time to practice questions?
Your advice are highly appreciated.

February 24, 2025 at 1:10 am #715560I am new to website donno where to ask questions plz reply me here asap.
1) my answers are not as detailed as the kaplan kit , i can write maybe 2-3 line but on kit there 2-3 paras of 4-5 line answer. I want to know id i write 2-3 line will i score a full 1 mark?
2) if i am not wrong test of controls are essentially just procedures right?
3)sometimes i just dont know what to write and dont remember the procedure or controls but when i got back to the notes and revise its all back and the cycle continues.
4) how i can overcome these problems in just one
week left ?
Also some time i just can’t separate controls from procedure in my mind when attempting a cr.February 24, 2025 at 1:52 pm #715567Welcome to my AA forum – to ask questions, select “create a new post” – give your post a meaningful subject line (e.g. if it is about a specific Q, the name and exam session).
Have you looked at he resources on this page? https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/exam-technique.html MOST IMPORTANTLY the “Read the mind of an AA marker” article and the examiner’s reports – just a couple should be sufficient to give you the gist of what is sufficient to earn 1/2 mark or 1 mark .
Have you attempted ACCA’s Mock? https://opentuition.com/topic/acca-pre-march-2025-mock-exams-available-now – it’s not too late – and the advantage of sitting this mock is that there is a debrief webinar to help you assess your answer.

Last but by no means least – there are some “AA key articles” at the bottom of this page https://opentuition.com/acca/aa I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you read this before attempting any more Qs https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/audit-tests-difference-tests-control-substantive-tests
